Raised in Oakland,California,a city rich with a history of music,Mycal discovered his natural talent and lasting love for music.He nutured his skills while singing in Gospel churches,and later in Jr. High ana High School iazz choirs.
At the age of 30,Mycal left a 10year career as an engineer for the Toshiba Corporation in Seattle,Washington,to pursue a promising career as a professional singer in Japan.

While working with companies like Meiji Kinen Kan & The Motown Cafe,Mycal has had the provelage of performing with various famous Japanese artists and venues such as Imai Daisuke,Nikki Monroe,Crystal K,Honda Corporation/Osaka Moto Show,Yokohama FM,Inter FM and BMG records,as well as many others.He is currently with the band "Starmusic39" and working as a Solo Artist at Gospel weddings and Nightclub & Restuarant venues throughout Japan.

Influenced by famous artists such as Brian McKnight,Babyface,Boyz 2 Men,Stevie Wonder,Howard Hewitt,Anita Baker &Prince,Mycal's soft voice and dynamic vocal ability provide a smooth sound and allow him to sing a large range of songs.

While in Japan,Mycal hopes for the opportunity to bless others with his music,and looks forward to his continued growth & improvement as a performer.
